    Ca. 90 km von Santiago de Chile entfernt liegt der riesige Pool des Resorts San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo. Er ist über einen Kilometer lang und erstreckt sich auf über 8 Hektar Fläche. Er fasst 250 Millionen Liter Wasser. Deswegen wurde er 2006 ins Guinness-Buch der Rekorde aufgenommen.
